Lia Torlidi-Kordera graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2007.

Following graduation, she began working in the field of hair transplantation at one of Greece’s largest specialized hair clinics, where she received training in surgical hair restoration. In 2010, after completing her mandatory rural medical service, she returned to Athens and became the clinic’s sole physician performing hair transplantation using the FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) technique.

In 2011, she joined the 1st Department of Oncology and Internal Medicine at Metaxa Cancer Hospital, where she completed the Internal Medicine component of her specialist training.

In 2016, she began her residency in Dermatology and Venereology at Andreas Syggros Hospital for Venereal and Skin Diseases in Athens, where she completed her specialization.

Throughout her dermatology training, she remained actively involved in surgical hair restoration. She has performed more than 1,500 hair transplant procedures, with particular experience in the FUE technique. Her scientific activity in the field of hair transplantation includes participation in international meetings; in 2012, she was an invited speaker at the III International Symposium on Plastic Surgery and Cosmetology in Moscow.

Her clinical work in hair disorders encompasses the diagnosis and medical management of alopecias and other disorders of the hair and scalp, objective monitoring of treatment response, and surgical hair restoration when indicated.

She is a member of the Hellenic Society of Dermatology and Venereology (EDAE), the Hellenic Society of Dermatosurgery, Laser and Aesthetic Dermatology (EEDX), and the Hellenic Dermoscopy Society (HDS). She is also a founding member of the Hellenic Hair Research Society (HHRS).

At her private practice, DocTor.Kor Hair & Derma Clinic in Glyfada, Athens, she practices clinical and aesthetic dermatology, with a particular focus on hair and scalp disorders and hair transplantation. Her approach is based on accurate diagnosis, individualized treatment planning and current scientific evidence.
